Day 1 of Filming

 Welcome back to my blog. Since the last time I posted we have completed a day of filming. It went well due to our good planning and teamwork. We were able to film more than half the project in around 2 hours. We also had time for a lunch break in between. The camera we used was an iPhone 13. This was very easy and portable. In some cases we made our own tripod with whatever we could find. This allowed us to customize what angles we wanted to use. Also our prior knowledge of angles allowed us to be creative with our filming. I would even say we came up with our own filming style. Because we are doing a comedy. We had many funny angles that will work well with our plan. In the midst of our filming journey, we encountered unexpected laughs and spontaneous moments that added charm to our comedy project. The iPhone 13 continued to prove its versatility, capturing the essence of our humor effortlessly. Improvising tripods from random items became a quirky tradition, giving us the freedom to experiment with angles on the fly. Our collaborative energy remained a driving force, turning each scene into a delightful collaboration. As the day unfolded, our spontaneous creativity thrived, weaving a tapestry of comedic sequences. The lunch break provided a breather, fueling us for the remaining laughter-filled adventures. With each passing moment, our unique filming style solidified, promising a project that's as enjoyable to create as it will be to watch.

Welcome back! Today marked our group's first editing session. Challenges arose as conflicting schedules prevented us from meeting in person. To address this, we utilized a group chat and phone calls for remote collaboration. Our choice of editing software, Cap Cut, stemmed from its user-friendly interface and accessibility. Given our limited editing experience, the simplicity of Cap Cut suited our needs. We strategically began editing from the movie's start, avoiding confusion with random clips. Starting with the title screen, we organized and edited the clips in chronological order. Nathaniel suggested a comic sans font for a playful and comedic tone in the titles. Script: hello and welcome to my CCR I'm going to be answering a few questions while trying to Sol solve various wooden puzzles um so the first question is how does your products use or challenge conventions so some common conventions for comedy movies would be a more predictable comedy sense because most comedy movies are um light-hearted and use widely accepted comedy values to most people um and our video does the opposite by introducing um stuff like alcohol um underage uh drinking and stuff like that um so we Tred to follow a unpredictable script with most of our um writing and we also use darker themes like um underage drinking peer pressure and temptation to do uh illegal activities when you're younger for the Montage were things that you'd see in a lot of other movies um the other part of the question is how does it represents social groups or issues um our project uh touches on the problem of underage drinking and also peer pressure...
