My Group for the Music Video

 My group will consist of myself and my good friends Alex and Nathanial. I chose to do this project with them because we have a productive friendship. I feel working with Alex and Nathanial will make the project have a good turnout. Both of my group mates have experience filming and editing.  The song we chose is 7 Years by Lukas Graham. I grew up listening to this song so it has a special place in my heart. The lyrics also have a lot of meaning. The song depicts a child growing up and being told what life will be like if he doesn't change. It also talks about each stage of life. The song is also very emotional.
The artist has deep attachment to the story being told. He has a strong voice that allows the listeners to hear the emotion behind his words. Even though the artist is still young he talks about turning 60 years old. He also talks about his hopes for when he is that age. He specifically states; "I hope my children come and visit once for twice a month...". Even though he has not had kids yet, he talks through the perspective of someone that age. I also know most of the words to this song already. This will help because I can teach my group mates the words while we film. Having this prior knowledge will save us time in the video process. It also gives us more time to devote to editing and filming. Thats all I have for today. Goodnight.

Welcome back! Today marked our group's first editing session. Challenges arose as conflicting schedules prevented us from meeting in person. To address this, we utilized a group chat and phone calls for remote collaboration. Our choice of editing software, Cap Cut, stemmed from its user-friendly interface and accessibility. Given our limited editing experience, the simplicity of Cap Cut suited our needs. We strategically began editing from the movie's start, avoiding confusion with random clips.
