     Welcome back to my blog. Since my last post I have finished my rough draft of my commercial. I did come across problems with making clean transitions. I plan on going back and redoing all my transitions. I still need to improve my editing skills and get use to using all the tools. I tired watching videos from Primal Video on YouTube. His videos are helping me get use to using all the tools. I will try to dedicate at least 2 hours a week to improving my skills. I will also use this time to edit my rough draft. I might even make a new rough draft in a different style to see if I like it better. I think doing this would give me more options for clips to use. Also it would show me different ways I can do things but have the same results. Overall I would learn a lot from this process in order to improve my final result.
I have talked with some of my friends about their commercials in order to see what their thinking. I found out that we are all taking different approaches to learning and completing the project. I feel I can learn from them and see what I can do differently. For example, my friend Steven has made no progress at all on the project and I know I will have a better result than him. On the other hand my friend Mike already had a lot of experience with CapCut and editing so that portion has gone smoothly for him. I will be using Mike as a resource in order to get help with my CapCut editing. I feel having someone I know teach me will help me improve much faster.

Welcome back! Today marked our group's first editing session. Challenges arose as conflicting schedules prevented us from meeting in person. To address this, we utilized a group chat and phone calls for remote collaboration. Our choice of editing software, Cap Cut, stemmed from its user-friendly interface and accessibility. Given our limited editing experience, the simplicity of Cap Cut suited our needs. We strategically began editing from the movie's start, avoiding confusion with random clips.
